Chronic knee pain and swelling
Knee pain may result from repeated overuse or misuse over a period of time, gout, septic arthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Symptoms of septic arthritis include joint pain, swelling, redness, stiffness, warmth, inability to straighten and bend the knee, and difficulty getting up and walking due to pain. Some may also experience a fever.
