Front hip pain, ache, and tingling
Pain, tingling, or noise occurs around the front hip or groin when moving the hip, causing pain or tingling sensation.
Diseases or conditions which cause the symptoms
- Iliofemoral ligament sprain
- Iliofemoral ligament tightness
- Tear of hip labram tissue (tissue that holds the femoral head and acetabulum of the hip together)
- Dislocated hip joint
- Other conditions, for example, hip osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, or acetabular dysplasia
When to see a doctor
- Severe pain makes it difficult to move
- Severe pain and an inability to bear weight on the leg
- Pain interferes with your daily life activities
