Initial symptom diagnosis / HAND AND UPPER LIMB
Injury to the Ulnar (Little Finger) Side of Wrist
The ulnar side of wrist is used to twist in order to perform various tasks in daily life. Hence, ligaments and tendons in this part have to hold the bone and joint firmly throughout the movement. This part is therefore prone to be inflamed or injured even from daily use or from minor accidents. If the symptom is not properly diagnosed, it will not be completely resolved.
Conditions which cause the symptoms are:
- Trifibrocartilage complex injury
- Extensor carpi ulnaris tendinitis
- Flexor carpi ulnaris tendinitis
- Pisiotriquetral arthritis
When to see a doctor

- Pain does not improve after resting or taking pain relievers
