Press Conference on the Official Launch of “kdms”, Thailand’s First Bone and Joint Hospital
On Wednesday, 2 March 2022, “Khordee Meesuk” or kdms, a specialized hospital for bone and joint conditions, held a press conference to unveil its official launch. The event was graced by special guests “Khun Boy – Pakorn Chatborirak” (a famous actor) and “Khun Ngamthip Chatborirak” (Khun Boy’s mother) who shared their experiences related to bones and joints alongside expert orthopedic physicians.
At the event, COVID-19 screening was conducted using the Antigen Test Kit (ATK), performed by medical personnel prior to entry. Upon entering the event, attendees were greeted by welcoming staff who distributed treatment vouchers at kdms along with snack boxes. In addition, the Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Medical team offered free health check-up to all guests and media representatives.

The hospital had the honor of being graced by Khun Tina – Supatthakit Jettaveekit as the emcee for the inauguration press conference. She introduced the specialized physicians and surgeons from all six subspecialty departments, including Knee and Hip, Spine, Sports Medicine and Shoulders, Wrists, Hands and Arms, Ankles and Feet, as well as Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine.

Dr. Tanapol Wangteeraprasert, Managing Director of kdms Hospital, warmly welcomed distinguished guests and media representatives. He emphasized the hospital’s vision, history, and key strengths as a specialist healthcare center in treating bone and joint conditions, setting the new standards within the medical industry in Thailand. He also discussed the business strategies, target customer groups, and aspirations for the year 2022.
Napon Sinthuvanich, M.D., Medical Director and Knee and Hip Replacement Surgeon, introduced all attendees to surgical innovations, including Robotic-Assisted Joint Replacement Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS).
Prof. Bancha Chernchujit, M.D. and Korakot Thamphongsri, M.D., Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgeon, discussed with Khun Boy about his shoulder pain symptoms and provided an initial assessment of his shoulder condition.
Assoc. Prof. Rattalerk Arunakul, M.D. and Jirachai Pisutbenya, M.D., Spine Surgeons, along with Suparat Thuannavarat, M.D., Rehabilitation Medicine Physician, engaged in a discussion addressing Khun Boy and his mother’s chronic back pain symptoms. They also provided basic exercises and techniques for managing such conditions to all participants.
